This accessory can be set to the appropriate step interval length up to 200 mm (8 in) for flatness measurement by the “Grid” or “Union Jack” method and for straightness measurement. It provides a base for the Talyvel® 6 Level Unit with self aligning seating pads adjustable to a graduated scale. The adjustable base is invaluable for setting different interval lengths when carrying out flatness checks on granite and iron surface tables. This base can also be used for mounting an autocollimator reflector.
